MR FERRARI IS THE LUCKY GUY IN NYC

The remarkable story of a cab driver who happened to pick up the “Nicest Guy” has been trending across social media and news sites. I never grow tired of reading about his encounter—if anything, it continues to inspire me. In fact, as I write this, I’m watching one of the Nicest Guy’s movies, Cast Away.

I have a feeling you already know what happened, as the story has garnered 1,026,876 likes (and counting) and 76,735 shares (and counting) on the Humans of New York Facebook page. What a lucky guy!

But for those who haven’t read the story yet, here’s what happened:

What truly captured my heart—and even brought me to tears—were the hundreds of thousands of comments from people who had similar encounters with Tom Hanks. Each one spoke of how kind, cool, and genuinely wonderful he is. What struck me most was that I didn’t come across a single negative comment about him.

That, to me, is incredibly rare—and incredibly cool.

Who would have thought that someone with such immense wealth, fame, and influence could remain so classy and genuinely down-to-earth? Admittedly, he’s the kind of person we can all look up to.

Reading about people’s encounters with Tom sparked a deep admiration in me. A part of me can’t help but wish I’d get “Hanks-ed” too—and maybe even snag a selfie! Hahaha.

I’ve even thought about sending him a note to express how much he has inspired me. After all, there’s something truly special—and deeply fulfilling—about encouraging and inspiring others.

And with that…

Go “WIIIIIIILLLSSSSSOOOOOOON!!!” 😊
